Yesterday, Voltalia had the honor of taking part in the Egypt-France Business Forum held in Cairo, in the presence of the Presidents of Egypt and France. On this occasion, Robert Klein, CEO of Voltalia, addressed the audience to reaffirm our strong commitment to supporting Egypt in its energy transition. He shared the company’s long-standing engagement in the country and highlighted some of Voltalia’s most strategic renewable energy initiatives. Since 2018, Voltalia has acted as a strategic partner to Egypt, working in alignment with the country’s renewable energy ambitions and supporting its efforts to build a more sustainable and resilient energy future. Our presence in Egypt reflects a long-term vision, rooted in cooperation, innovation, and a shared goal of accelerating the shift towards low-carbon energy solutions. As part of this vision, Voltalia is actively involved in the repowering of the Zafarana site, one of the country’s oldest and most iconic wind farm, in partnership with TAQA Arabia. This major project aims to combine 1.1 GW of wind and 2.1 GW of solar generation — a key national initiative to attract sustainable investment and accelerate the country’s green transition. Voltalia is proud to contribute to this positive momentum and to strengthen the longstanding ties between France and Egypt in the pursuit of a greener future.
