Major contract for the world's largest low-carbon ammonia production facility! 🏆 We will perform the engineering, procurement, equipment and module fabrication for Blue Point Number One, a joint venture between CF Industries, JERA Co., Inc. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Ltd in Louisiana 🇺🇸 The plant is set to have a capacity of approximately 1.4 million metric tons per year and is expected to achieve CO2 recovery rates of greater than 95%, representing a significant milestone for the ammonia industry. We’re thrilled to contribute to this landmark project by utilizing our expertise in modularization and project delivery to accelerate the adoption of ammonia as a viable, low-carbon solution for fertilizers, power generation, marine fuels, and other markets! The Chevron Phillips Chemical Company supermodule furnace project in Baytown, where we were the lead design firm, judged “Best of the Best” by Engineering News-Record (ENR)🏆    The project was recognized as the “Best Project” in the Energy/Industrial category for the Texas/Louisiana region by the ENR magazine at their 60th annual Award of Excellence celebration. Expanding Processium’s capabilities in biotech process development with a new state-of-the-art fermentation laboratory in Lyon, France 🧪 Processium, our fully owned laboratory that develops processes to support the energy transition and enhance manufacturing in sustainable chemicals, took a major step recently by opening a new fermentation laboratory at its Lyon base to develop an entire biotechnology procedure, covering both upstream and downstream processing. Fermentation bacteria can convert renewable feedstocks such as sugar, glycerol, or CO2 into molecules currently produced from fossil sources or new molecules used for innovative applications, making fermentation a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels and a key technology in the transition to a more sustainable chemistry.
