Lorenzo Mariani has been appointed as the new MBDA Executive Group Director Sales & Business Development and the Managing Director of MBDA Italia 🚀 Having previously held this position in 2023, and with his experience as Co-General Manager and Director of Operations of Leonardo since then, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. He succeeds Giovanni Soccodato and will be stepping into this key leadership position to drive customer development and long-term performance for MBDA. 🌐 At Group level, Lorenzo Mariani will lead an integrated multinational team, responsible for generating the order intake to sustain the long-term performance of MBDA and the development of the most effective solutions to meet current and future operational requirements. 🇮🇹 As Managing Director of #MBDAItalia, he will ensure effective relations with the Italian customer and industrial community, as well as ensure continuity of the production ramp-up that started in previous years in response to the current geopolitical context. We congratulate him on this nomination and look forward to what's ahead! 👏

🗨️ "The cooperation model of MBDA is proving more relevant than ever"   The annual #MBDAPressConference, led by our CEO Eric Beranger, was the occasion to highlight the milestones reached in 2024, and state our goals for the following years, in a historical moment for #Europe.

MBDA is proud to announce the signature of the 15th Contract Amendment for the FSAF-PAAMS Sustainment & Enhancement (S&E), signed by OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation)and EUROSAM GIE on March 11th. This new amendment focuses on the production of Aster 30 B1 and #Aster 15 missiles, strengthening both ground and naval air #defence for #Europe. Aster missiles are already in use by French, Italian, and UK armed forces, and will further support their defence capabilities. This significant milestone demonstrates our trusted relationship with our clients, as well as the relevance and reliability of Aster missiles on the battlefield, and our ability to ramp-up to deliver decisive capabilities to protect European nations within a shorter timeframe to ensure the sovereignty.
