Foley Hoag is proud to have signed an amicus brief supporting Perkins Coie in its claims against the federal government arising out of the Executive Order directed at that law firm. We made this decision even though only fourteen (14) AmLaw 200 firms signed onto the brief. We concluded that this was the right thing to do for Foley Hoag, even if we were one of a small number of the country’s largest firms that participated. By joining the amicus brief, we are not only supporting our colleagues at Perkins Coie (and, by extension, other firms targeted by similar Executive Orders), but also advancing the values and principles that guide our own practice and service to our clients. #amicusbrief
