It was good to be back at the OECD in Paris today for the BIAC Tax Committee meeting (Business at OECD). At lunchtime we celebrated and thanked Alan McLean for his time chairing the Tax committee. Alan has been a great leader, but equally importantly is a wonderful human being. It has been a such a pleasure to work with him over many years. And it was great also to welcome Daniel Smith and Christian Kaeser as the new co-chairs. There’s a lot for them to do, and the waters will be quite choppy!

interesting exchanges at Business at OECD (BIAC)'s spring tax committee meeting today. I was very happy to report with Ann-Maree Wolff on our latest interactions with OECD Tax on Pillar 2. And we all said goodbye to Alan McLean whom I have always admired as BIAC's tax committee chair for his blend of calm, leadership, authority and diplomacy. Enjoy your new life Alan!

🧮 Today, we held our Tax Committee meeting, where our Tax Committee Chair Alan McLean formally stepped down. We would like to thank Alan McLean for his leadership & insights on international tax.

🤝 Our Executive Director Hanni Rosenbaum met with Cancillería Perú’s Ambassador to International Organizations including the OECD - OCDE Ana Rosa Valdivieso. They discussed common priorities, #Peru’s accession to the #OECD & how business can best contribute.
