For you, what are the biggest challenges in making quantum computing more accessible? 🤨 The study of quantum computing has been gaining momentum in recent years. With many promises ahead, research is progressing rapidly. Companies are actively developing hardware and software based on different concepts to turn quantum computing into reality. Among all challenges, One is controlling qubits. The core of quantum computers lies in qubits, whose energy state can be controlled using microwave signals. With RF sources and arbitrary waveform generators (AWG), it is possible to generate pulsed signals to manipulate their state. ❗ The challenge: As the number of qubits increases, using a dedicated single-channel RF source for each one becomes costly. 💡 The solution: A more efficient approach is to use a limited number of RF sources and switch between qubits intelligently. A combined solution using high-end RF pulsed modulated sources and RF switches enables precise qubit control while optimizing costs and footprint.
