Just Published: First-Year Assessment of the AU–EU Innovation Agenda 🌍 We are proud to share the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Report on the first year of the AU–EU Innovation Agenda (2023–2033). This is the first in a series of annual assessments showing how research and innovation are driving real change in Africa and Europe. 🇪🇺🇪🇬 EU & Egypt have just concluded negotiations on Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship research & innovation programme! From today, transitional arrangements are effective, and the official agreement is expected to be signed by November 2025. This means that Egyptian researchers and organisations will be able to join #HorizonEU on similar terms as EU Member States, unlocking new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation across borders. Once finalised, this milestone will make Egypt the second African country fully associated with Horizon Europe, after Tunisia.
