#Netflix has taught sports centers a lot The way loyalty is built is changing. People no longer stay because they signed a contract, but because the experience keeps delivering. Just as Netflix keeps its subscribers coming back with value tailored to their tastes, #sportscenters can do the same. Flexible memberships and value propositions for every type of customer are just the starting point for applying the Netflix model to sports. It’s not just about giving, it’s about giving something relevant. We explored how the subscription economy could reshape the future of sports centers in the article linked in the first comment 👇 🤖 This video is an AI.

⚙️ Same footprint. Triple the players. That’s the power of small-sided #soccer. Same passion, less space. A traditional indoor soccer field typically hosts around 12 players per match. By reconfiguring that same space into 3 smaller pitches—like 5-a-side or 7-a-side fields—you can have over 30 players playing simultaneously. Just like we did at the Anaheim Family YMCA, where we transformed 2 traditional fields into 6 small-sided pitches. The result? From 24 players at once to 60. But it’s not just about more players. It’s more flexibility, more parallel sessions, and more formats for tournaments, events, and training. Every inch of the facility works better. Every hour delivers more. That’s what we build at WSBSPORT.

The new identity of #sportscenters. The success of modern clubs is no longer measured by how many people walk through the door, but by how well a space connects with the right people. And, more importantly, how well it keeps them coming back. The traditional mass-market approach is fading. In its place, a new model is emerging—one built on quality, clarity, and community. That means designing sports centers with intention. Offering curated services that align with how people live, not just how they play. Creating experiences that feel personal. We explored how this shift toward premium is reshaping the industry in the article linked in the first comment 👇 🤖 This video is an AI.

The Eye Wants Its Share One of the most important, and often overlooked, aspects of a #sportscenter is its #design. It’s a detail that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. And because of that, many centers end up looking and feeling exactly the same. That’s where the risk lies: blending in with the crowd, offering nothing that sets you apart. In one of our recent projects, we collaborated with the Reserva Padel Club in Rome, where we installed Full Panoramic Padel courts. What truly makes this project stand out is the overall environment, not just the courts themselves, which were selected for their impressive visual appeal, but also the carefully curated furnishings around them, all contributing to a unique atmosphere. The same attention to detail extends to another key area of any sports facility: the locker rooms. They weren’t left to chance, but were intentionally designed to create a space that can be described in one word: Distinctive. Because in the world of sports centers, if you want to stand out, you’ve got to truly be distinctive.

#Recovery in sports centers: more important than it seems. For many players, staying active isn't about competing; it's about playing pain-free and keeping injuries at bay. But too often recovery is neglected until it is too late. #Sportscenters are responding to players' needs by beginning to change that. Recovery services such as cryotherapy, physical therapy, and recovery rooms are no longer just for professionals. Everyday players are looking for ways to stay in the game longer, recover faster, and avoid the injuries that keep them off the field. Integrating these solutions into sports centers is not just an additional service, but is becoming an expectation. Clubs that recognize this need will not only improve the player experience, but also create new revenue streams and increased customer loyalty. We explored how and why catch-up needs to be part of sports center offerings in the article linked to the first comment 👇 🤖 This video is an AI.

Our latest 5 a side indoor #soccer #innovation. At WSBSPORT, we always focus on innovation, and our latest design for Sogility St. Louis introduces a unique feature for 5-a-side soccer: an 8-foot side wall. This addition improves the field in many ways: ⚽ More dynamic play - The extended side wall increases the rebound area, allowing more strategic & no-stop play and fluid ball movement. 👀 Total immersion - The raised structure creates a more enclosed atmosphere, amplifying the intensity of each game. 🪑 Enhanced spectator experience - The design can integrate supporting surfaces, improving comfort and visibility for fans. We don't just build fields; we work with our partners to best design and realize their dreams.

The rise of #padel in #sports #tourism For decades, #golf has been the staple of sports tourism, with exclusive courses and luxury resorts attracting millions of players worldwide. But a new sport is rapidly emerging, with great potential for the world of sports tourism. Padel is no longer a niche-related activity. Top golf clubs have built entire business models around hospitality, networking, and high-end experiences. Now padel clubs have before them the opportunity to follow the same path, transforming themselves into well-rounded destinations that go beyond the game. How? By integrating hospitality, premium services and exclusive events, creating spaces that attract players not just to play, but to have a greater experience. We explored how padel clubs can be inspired by the success of golf to shape the future of sports tourism in the article linked in the first comment 👇 🤖 This video is an AI.

Did you know that temperature fluctuations can cause glass to break spontaneously? At WSBSPORT, we prevent this risk by using the Heat Soak Test (HST), a process that simulates the temperature fluctuations glass will experience once installed outdoors. When exposed to continuous temperature variations, glass with high iron content or nickel sulfide (NiS) inclusions may develop microfractures that can lead to spontaneous breakage. The HST process accelerates this effect in a controlled environment, allowing us to identify and eliminate over 99% of potentially defective panels before installation. Here’s how it works: 🌡️ The glass is heated to 290°C and held at that temperature. ❄️ This simulates the thermal stress glass will face due to daily heating and cooling cycles. 💥 If a panel is structurally weak, it shatters during testing rather than in real-world conditions, ensuring long-term durability. We applied this process to the three glass-walled 5-a-side soccer fields we built for DAVENPORT FAMILY YMCA, guaranteeing maximum safety and reliability in a facility exposed to changing weather conditions. At WSBSPORT, we design sports centers with cutting-edge engineering, ensuring that every detail meets the highest standards of performance and durability.
