🚀 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: AI AND THE METAVERSE 🚀 The European Metaverse Research Network (led by Mel Slater) and the MetaverseUA Chair (Aurelio Lopez-Tarruella) are launching a Call for Submissions for the II International Congress “Metaverse for the Good”, organized in the framework of the Project on the Implementation of the Charter of Digital Rights financed by the public entity Red.es in Alicante, 11-12 June. 🌍 ABOUT THE CONGRESS The metaverse represents an evolving space where AI-powered virtual environments intersect with physical reality, offering both transformative opportunities and critical challenges. 📢 CONSULTA PÚBLICA SOBRE TECNOLOGÍAS INMERSIVAS Y MUNDOS VIRTUALES EN ESPAÑA La Cátedra para el Desarrollo Responsable del Metaverso de la Universidad de Alicante, en colaboración con INMERSIVA XR, lanza una consulta pública para conocer el grado de adopción y uso de estas tecnologías en España. Esta iniciativa forma parte del proyecto de Red para impulsar la Carta de Derechos Digitales en los nuevos entornos digitales. 🔎 ¿En qué consiste la consulta? El estudio busca recoger la percepción de la ciudadanía sobre el impacto del Metaverso en su día a día y, a la vez, analizar la visión de los profesionales del sector en cuanto a sus desafíos, oportunidades y regulación. 📌 Dos cuestionarios diferenciados: ✅ Población general: exploramos conocimiento, uso, expectativas y preocupaciones. ✅ Profesionales: se abordan aspectos técnicos y jurídicos, barreras, seguridad y riesgos.
