Las startups fundadas solo por mujeres se quedan en el 10% del total : “Nos hacen falta referentes” https://lnkd.in/dH9M3dVF Josune Ayo, directora ejecutiva y cofundadora de Genbioma, una empresa navarra especializada en el estudio de microbiomas para prevenir el desarrollo de enfermedades como la diabetes y la obesidad, indica que este problema tiene unas raíces claras: “Tenemos muy pocas referencias de mujeres. A mí me hubiera encantado contar con modelos femeninos”. La científica comenta que durante su carrera universitaria, primero en nutrición y después en tecnología en la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU), las promociones eran esencialmente femeninas, pero “convertirnos en emprendedoras es el salto que más nos cuesta a todas”, agrega. El Mapa del Emprendimiento elaborado por South Summit e IE University, evidencia que, cuando los proyectos de las emprendedoras alcanzan la rentabilidad, logran mejores resultados que muchos de sus homólogos masculinos, lo que refuerza la necesidad de impulsar el acceso de las mujeres a recursos y financiación. Según Ayo, las mujeres alcanzan esta eficiencia porque tienen buenas capacidades de comunicación: “Llevamos las empresas con un enfoque más femenino. No somos de orden y mando. Somos más conciliadoras con el tema de la flexibilidad, de los horarios y la familia.
