El Departamento nace a principios de 2017 con el gran desafío de revisar la arquitectura y los espacios interiores del contexto histórico en el que vivimos. Es el lugar donde confluyen contemporaneidad y experimentación. Un camino que va desde el interiorismo hasta la arquitectura y viceversa. Una oficina joven y llena de energía fundada por Alberto Eltini (Arquitecto) y Marina Martín (Directora Creativa), fruto de sus experiencias profesionales y vitales en ciudades como Londres, Nueva York, Madrid o Barcelona. Es precisamente el perfil diverso pero complementario de sus fundadores uno de los mayores valores añadidos del estudio. Su misión es tender un puente entre la arquitectura más estricta y racional a través del pensamiento libre y las estéticas más atrevidas con el objetivo de activar los sentidos de los usuarios de sus obras. Cada proyecto supone una revolución interna que pone en tela de juicio todo lo hecho hasta ahora bajo la premisa consciente de que no se puede inventar la rueda todos los días, pero sí intentarlo. En sus seis años de vida, El Departamento ha diseñado y ejecutado proyectos de distintas escalas: desde viviendas privadas hasta espacios de uso público como oficinas, restaurantes y espacios retail, siendo estos últimos los más recurrentes en su porfolio gracias a la habilidad de su equipo para crear lugares únicos que representen al 100% el ADN de cada marca y respondan a su contexto urbano, cumpliendo de manera estricta un programa que resulta cada vez más exigente. Entre sus proyectos ejecutados más destacados están las tiendas Pompeii en las principales ciudades españolas, el Restaurante Momiji del Chef Diego Lasso, la Flagship Store de Project Lobster en Barcelona y el resto de tiendas de la marca, el interiorismo de las oficinas de Jeff en Valencia, la Flagship Store de Décimas en Puerta del Sol, las tiendas de Nude Project en Madrid y Valencia, y la recientemente inaugurada tienda de Lady Pipa en el centro de la capital.

TWOJEYS Flagship Store Barcelona . Crafting Spaces: A Study in Homothety and Material Identity . Interior design is not just about aesthetics—it’s about storytelling. The way objects relate in scale, function, and context can transform a space into a conceptual narrative. . In our latest retail project, we explored homothety as a design principle: what happens when an object transcends its scale to become architecture? The brand’s logo is no longer just a symbol—it’s a sculptural furniture piece, anchoring the space with presence and identity. . We pushed set design to its extreme, integrating a full-scale car affixed to the wall—an artifact, a statement, a disruption. Every prop, every element is more than decoration; it’s a deliberate act of spatial storytelling. . To evoke the essence of a silversmith’s atelier, we meticulously designed custom furniture that resonates with the craftsmanship of metalwork. Workbenches, patinaed surfaces, and tool-inspired fixtures don’t just simulate a jeweler’s workshop—they become it. . This is interior design as alchemy: where spatial composition, branding, and material tactility fuse into a singular immersive experience .
