We are happy to announce our expansion in the residential segment with the acquisition of 231 rental apartments in Uppsala, Sweden. 🤝 This project, in partnership with the seller and developer Bonava, aims to provide modern and sustainable living spaces in a highly sought-after area, catering to the growing population of Uppsala. – Uppsala has experienced significant population growth, leading to a housing supply and demand imbalance. This acquisition strengthens our partnership with Bonava while providing more modern and sustainable rental apartments in a high-demand area. By combining good housing quality with a clear focus on sustainability, we aim to create value for both residents and the city's development, says Carl-Adam von Schéele, Head of Nrep Sweden. 🌳 The apartments will feature well-designed homes with direct access to one of Uppsala's largest park areas, ensuring convenience and a high quality of life. I onsdags, i ett soligt Svedala, tog vi första spadtag för nytt äldreboende med 60 lägenheter i Svedala kommun. Vi är tacksamma för att bli fastighetsägare till ytterligare ett äldreboende utvecklat av Novum samhällsfastigheter, dessutom med Vardaga som hyresgäst och Veidekke Sverige som entreprenör. Det blir det första privata äldreboendet sedan LOV infördes i Svedala kommunen. Tack alla som var med oss denna härliga dag. In a fascinating discussion about demographic shifts and delivering the right type of housing for residents, Joonas highlighted the Finland market: a region where the number of homes is meeting demand. According to Joonas, to manage a residential platform that delivers returns, operators and investors have to regard residents as customers, focus on their experience by listening to their needs and tailoring living products accordingly. Investors who have a local understanding of different neighbourhoods and their developments are more likely to manage successful residential investments.
