It was a fantastic summit in Krakow with many insightful presentations and debates on HPC, AI Factories and Quantum computing! Many thanks to EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and Marta Maj from EuroCC Poland for this truly successful event. As always, it was also a pleasure to travel and exchange ideas with my colleagues, who are scattered all over Denmark. It was also a great pleasure to meet with our cherished colleagues from the EuroCC 2 and EuroCC4SEE project and to make further plans for collaboration with them. On 30 September - 01 October, it will be our pleasure to welcome you all to the #EuroHPCUserDays2025 in Copenhagen! The Computing Continuum: Bridging Technologies for a Connected Future Join us for an insightful event in Aalborg as we explore the integration of IoT, Edge and Fog Computing, Cloud, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). Many argue that we will no longer see these technologies as separate but rather as part of a continuum, a computing continuum. In the talk, we will present the motivation for the computing continuum, the challenges involved and concrete examples showing how the computing continuum will impact technology and society. We will discuss the increasingly crucial role of High-Performance Computing #HPC in the computing continuum, highlighting its impact on technology and society.
