77% of young people in Denmark feel that drinking alcohol is expected at parties or social gatherings. New research shows that there is room for improvement in Denmark when it comes to the social culture among young people. Young Danes appreciate a good party, but many also feel pressured to drink—sometimes more than they want to. Tuborg is here to help change that! With its biggest campaign yet, the brand is championing responsible drinking. Under the headline Drink With Respect, Tuborg will use films, advertisements, and concrete initiatives at party venues to inspire young people to drink responsibly—with respect for themselves, their friends, and their community. "As Denmark's preferred beer brand, Tuborg is present when young people gather at parties and concerts. That’s why we also share a responsibility in ensuring positive social experiences," says Peter Haahr Nielsen, Managing Director of Carlsberg Denmark. "We want to help change the drinking culture in Denmark. No one should feel pressured to drink more than they want to, and it should be completely okay to drink in moderation or say no to alcohol altogether,” he adds. #DrinkWithRespect #Tuborg

The devastating earthquake on Friday has impacted several of our markets, but we are relieved that all our employees are safe. Over the weekend, we worked closely with our local colleagues in Myanmar and neighbouring countries to assess the situation and provide necessary support. Myanmar has been particularly hard hit, with many of our colleagues experiencing damage to their homes and belongings. The safety of our employees remains our top priority, and we are actively working to ensure that our employees receive the assistance they need during this difficult time. To support the hardest-hit regions in Asia, especially Myanmar, we have decided to make a significant donation to the Red Cross' international relief efforts in the region. We remain committed to providing the necessary support and stand in solidarity with our colleagues, their families and everyone affected by this tragic event. Our thoughts are with all those impacted.

At Carlsberg, we are working with regenerative agriculture as it develops. This is how we can help create positive changes. We hope that more companies will follow suit so that we can create demand and, thus, greater security for farmers considering using regenerative methods. One of the biggest barriers to the spread of regenerative agriculture is the lack of standard definition or criteria to work with. This makes it challenging to promote a particular method if there isn’t clear alignment on what it encompasses. When we talk about transitioning to using only regeneratively farmed raw ingredients in our beer by 2040, this is how we define regenerative farming, accepting that local exceptions may be needed 👇🏼 #RegenerativeAgriculture #Regenerative #Farming

It's not a given that cans and bottles are "returned home" to a supermarket for recycling when empty. Especially not in countries which lack robust collection and recycling infrastructure. But. That's not a reason to not take responsibility. We are working towards a 90% collection rate for recycling in countries where we sell products. We're currently at 76% 🏁 Taking responsibility for what happens with bottles and cans after consumers enjoy a beverage is part of our work to achieve ZERO Packaging Waste. Deposit return schemes are a proven way to encourage consumers to recycle bottles. They involve charging consumers a deposit on bottles and cans, which is refunded when they are returned to be reused or recycled. In 2024, among other things, we brought together the strategic packaging collection leads from all EU markets to learn more about these schemes. 💡 Curious about what else we have done on our journey #TowardsZERO packaging waste? Carlsberg Group has been awarded European Bottler of the Year 2024 by PepsiCo recognizing outstanding performance and our strong partnership. Spearheading the growth is Carlsberg Sweden, which has been on an incredible run of market share wins and has seen an impressive double-digit volume growth over the last three years. Pepsi Max is now the largest Carbonated Soft Drinks brand in Sweden. But the coveted award also recognizes the strong strategic partnerships of Carlsberg and PepsiCo beyond Sweden, including the longstanding growth journey in Norway, our commitment to build the Swiss business, and our significant investment in Britvic plc. With this year’s acquisition of Britvic, Carlsberg Group currently is the bottling partner for PepsiCo in seven markets worldwide: Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, GB, Ireland, Cambodia and Laos. Next year, we will add two more markets to the mix, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. #Pepsibottler #SoftDrinks #AccelerateSail

Saving over 2 million tons of water from 2015 to 2024 👏🏼 Through measures such as precise bottle washing techniques, instantaneous sterilization technology, and water recycling, the Dali Brewery in China has achieved a remarkable 42% reduction in water consumption, equivalent to 2 million tons of water, from 2015 to 2024. The brewery has also reached zero wastewater discharge, recycling the wastewater for sanitation and grounds maintenance. This achievement is part of Carlsberg China’s continued efforts to drive water efficiency across all our breweries. Overall, our water usage efficiency reached 2.1 hl/hl in 2024 in China, representing a 45.7% reduction since 2015, saving over 50 million tons of water from 2015 to 2024. A huge thank you to Team China for their dedication and hard work in reaching this milestone. Together, we’re brewing for a better today and tomorrow! Did you know that Carlsberg’s reach spans all corners of the globe? Since 1966, we've been proudly partnering with incredible companies like Photos Photiades Group in Cyprus, where we launched our first-ever licensing collaboration. It’s more than just a business relationship—it’s a shared journey built on trust, innovation, and a passion for quality beer! Most recently, we partnered to serve 5,000 cold, alcohol-free Carlsberg 0.0 beers to 15,000 runners and 20,000 spectators at the Larnaka Marathon. This event is just one example of how we’re bringing our signature alcohol-free brews to the world in exciting ways, and it aligns with our ambitious global target: By 2040, 35% of the beers we sell worldwide will be low-alcohol or alcohol-free, and that includes all our license markets. 💡 Curious about where we are on our journey #TowardsZERO irresponsible drinking?
