Are you curious about the innovative research in functional networks of healthy and diseased iPSC models? Our latest study reveals the fascinating world of glutamatergic neurons and microglia interactions, offering insights that could pave the way for groundbreaking advancements in neurological health. During this research, we monitored healthy and Huntington’s disease iPSC-derived glutamatergic neurons expressing Neuroburst in both mono-culture (MC) and co-culture (CC) with healthy iPSC-derived microglia. Using the Neuronal Activity Assay, we captured intriguing calcium traces and analyzed network correlations and burst durations at 15 days post-microglia addition. This data, presented as mean ± SEM across 3 – 12 replicates, reveals significant insights into neuronal behavior and interactions.
