The season of cherry blossoms has arrived!🌸   Sakura may be most famously associated with Japan, but the magical season has already begun across many European cities too — from Bonn to Stockholm, Munich, and Amsterdam, Europe is getting its own sprinkle of sakura magic.   In Japan, the season is celebrated at Sakura Hiroba, a breathtaking garden brought to life by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando and the vision of the Panasonic Group. It is designed so that architecture meets nature, and every breeze carries a petal and a little peace.   Whether you’re snapping pics under a cherry tree in your local park or daydreaming of distant blossoms, take a moment to enjoy the charm of spring.🌸✨   Find out more about Sakura Hiroba: https://lnkd.in/d6waFVbf

Martin Luther King Jr. is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in US history. He is also known across the world and he was a social activist who led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination on April 4th 1968.🕊️   Dr. King's story shows us that the fight for civil rights, equality, diversity and inclusion often begins with the courage to stand up, asking for more inclusive rights for everyone regardless of colour. His words and actions encourage others to work for a more inclusive and equal society.✊🏾   At the heart of Dr King's mission were two powerful principles that resonate deeply with us:   **Equality**: A core tenet of King's philosophy was a belief in the equality of all people, regardless of race or background. He fought tirelessly for civil rights, asserting that everyone deserves basic human rights. **social justice**: King championed economic justice and equality, emphasising that civil rights must include access to education, employment and fair economic opportunity for all.   At Panasonic we have a Business Impact Group called EMBRACE. Through our Business Impact Group, EMBRACE we aim to support racial and ethnic diversity across Panasonic, hoping to inspire change and innovation, empower talent and contribute to business growth.   What part of Dr. King's message resonates most with you — and why? • We truly believe in the power of people. Our founder, Konosuke Matsushita, once said: "Every human being has unique qualities that shine when polished."   Just like rough diamonds that reveal their brilliance with careful polishing, he believed that true leadership lies in recognising the potential in people and nurturing their talents to help them reach their full potential. 💎 Who's helped you shine? Tag someone who has been there for you, or share a time when someone believed in your potential. 💡 Learn more about developing people and making the most of their potential: https://lnkd.in/eVyveBMe

  • Bringing innovation to life at Narita Airport! 🤖✈️   We’re thrilled to share that our PIMTO mobile robot vending service is now in action at Narita International Airport, Terminal 1! This exciting field trial, a collaboration between Panasonic Holdings, Mashup Inc., and Narita International Airport Corporation, runs from March 21 to 30.   Travelers are already enjoying a fun, last-minute shopping experience — picking up everything from local Japanese specialties to quirky subculture items, all from a robot on wheels!   So, what makes PIMTO special? 🔹 It’s mobile — no need for fixed setups 🔹 Easy to use with a multilingual interface (11 languages!) 🔹 Multiple payment options: credit cards, QR codes, IC cards 🔹 Curated with care: a “Wings & Wonders” themed product lineup   But there’s more to this story than just tech. This project also supports social inclusion — by working with welfare facilities to manage remote operations and packaging, we’re helping create meaningful job opportunities for people with disabilities.   With international passenger traffic rising (21.79 million in 2024!), we’re proud to show how technology can improve customer experience and make a positive impact.   Curious to see PIMTO in action? Check out more here: https://lnkd.in/epHNVgam   Have you spotted PIMTO at Narita? Snap a photo and share it in the comments below! We’d love to see your encounters with this little innovation on wheels. 📸👇

Turning windows and walls into power sources! 🔆🔋   Did you know that perovskite solar cells blend seamlessly with glass building materials?   Panasonic perovskite solar cells are designed to integrate directly into glass building materials such as windows and achieved a world-class energy conversion efficiency of 18.1% in an 804 cm² module. 🌱   By combining our original inkjet coating method with laser processing technology, we can increase flexibility in terms of size, transparency and design, enabling customisation to meet specific requirements, for example in areas with limited rooftop space.   Find out more 👉https://lnkd.in/ewdUxp6M

We are proud of the partnerships we have with sustainability engaged athletes as part of Team Panasonic. The two events we held with Malaika Mihambo are perfect examples of how important it is to try to inspire the next generation to be curious and passionate about sustainability and to take action. This video shares the highlights from the events at Löwenrot Gymnasium, including the handover of apple trees won by the students for Groups in their local communities - each tree is a powerful symbol of commitment to climate action and biodiversity. 🌳✨ "Each jump in the challenge was an active contribution to climate action - and today we see the result: trees that not only absorb CO₂ but also provide a home for many animals and plants. These trees represent your commitment to sustainability. I'm so proud of you!” - said Malaika. #PanasonicEurope #TeamPanasonic #PanasonicGREENIMPACT #Sustainability #Athlete #SustainabilityEducation
