Four years ago, we opened the doors to something we weren’t even sure had a name yet. A space ten times the size of our old office, launched in the middle of a pandemic. Not just a building. Not a co-working space. Definitely not a corporate campus. We wanted to create a living, breathing community. A place where the most ambitious minds in AI could build, collide, and experiment. It started with a handful of companies and a big question: What if we created a home for AI in the heart of Berlin? Fast forward to today: ▪️ 80+ companies have called Merantix AI Campus home ▪️ Thousands of events, ideas, and collisions and some very real companies ▪️ A community that’s become more than a network It’s a support system. A talent magnet. A launchpad for what’s next. The secret? It’s not just the space. It’s the people who walk into it every day with big ideas and even bigger hearts. The late-night whiteboard sessions. The impromptu mentorship over coffee. The willingness to pitch something that might not work, yet. Today, we’re celebrating 4 years of Merantix AI Campus. And while AI is evolving faster than ever, our belief in community as the foundation of innovation has only gotten stronger. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this wild, beautiful experiment. Here’s to the next four. Bigger bets. Braver builders. And one hell of a community. 🥂

Four years of planning, building, improvising, laughing, (occasionally panicking), and always somehow pulling it off, because the people here just get it. Yesterday, the Merantix AI Campus turned 4, and it made me reflect on how much of that time has been shaped by the people here. If you’ve ever joined an event, If you’ve stayed late chatting after a panel, If you’ve let me point my camera at you for an interview… Thank you! This place has never just been about AI or startups or numbers (though 1000+ events and 200k+ attendees is pretty wild). It’s about community. About people showing up, being curious, generous, welcoming. I’ve always felt like I could bring my whole self to the table, and that’s because of you, the community! So here’s to the builders, the thinkers, the “sure I’ll help with that last-minute event” people. You’ve made these 4 years unforgettable. Here’s to many more 🥂💫

I’ve had many plus-ones at Merantix events over the years, but none as special as this one 🍼 For the past four years, I’ve been building the Merantix AI Campus, watching it grow from an idea into a thriving hub for AI innovation in Europe has been an incredible journey. Now, while on maternity leave, I find myself in the midst of a very different kind of building, one that is just as meaningful and rewarding. Returning to Campus yesterday with my daughter, on its anniversary, felt especially meaningful. Seeing how much it has flourished, thanks to the incredible community of AI builders, was a great reminder that growth, whether in work or life, thrives with the right support and vision. Happy 4 years, Merantix AI Campus! And thank you for being a place that embraces all kinds of milestones. Looking forward to being back in August, ready to build, scale, and shape the next chapter of AI innovation together! 💙

💡Exploring AI & Industry 4.0 in LatAm – A Look Back at Kickstart Focus! Our latest Kickstart Focus program took place at Merantix AI Campus and brought together startups, investors, and industry leaders for a full day of engaging discussions on the future of AI and Industry 4.0 in Latin America. Throughout the day, our experts shared insights on emerging opportunities, deep tech advancements, investment strategies, and AI regulations, offering a valuable perspective on the region’s rapidly evolving landscape. We were also joined by Sergio G. Chavez from MEXpreneurs, adding to the conversation on innovation and entrepreneurship in LatAm. The evening session opened with remarks from Oliver Contla from the Mexican Embassy, followed by a thought-provoking Fireside Chat that sparked meaningful discussions on scaling AI and navigating LatAm’s dynamic markets. The day ended with great food, drinks, and plenty of networking - creating connections that will continue to drive innovation in the region.
