𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘁 On Friday, we spent a fantastic Connected Mobility Day at the wonderful DMI-ecosysteem Center in Amersfoort, Netherlands. This event brought together industry leaders and innovators to explore the future of mobility, focusing on MaaS, ticketing, on-demand transport, and more. 🎤  The morning featured an insightful interview discussing how connected mobility can accelerate smart and sustainable urbanization, with perspectives from Caspar de Jonge (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management), Manuela Melis (Rivier) and Emilio Tuinenburg (Siemens Mobility Netherlands). 🌟  A keynote by Gonçalo Homem de Almeida Rodriguez Correia from Delft University of Technology highlighted the challenges and opportunities in the evolving landscape of on-demand transport. Attendees then engaged in breakout sessions covering topics such as collaboration in mobility, the transition in the Netherlands, data management, booking process simplification, and integrated transport in rural areas. 🚌 It was a day filled with valuable discussions and connections, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in driving the future of connected mobility. The system offers a flexible, efficient, and environmentally friendly approach, designed to meet the diverse mobility needs of residents and visitors. This cutting-edge service will operate a fleet of around 300 vehicles, offering a flexible and sustainable transport solution designed to handle over 10,000 trips daily. By bridging the gap between scheduled public transport and on-demand mobility, we’re reducing private vehicle reliance and enhancing accessibility for all – including dedicated paratransit options.
