🇨🇴 What a week in Colombia! Our LatAm Market Discovery cohort 2025-1 just wrapped up an intense and inspiring agenda filled with ecosystem connections, local insights, and meaningful conversations. 🚀 A true highlight was the site visit to Rappi — Colombia’s unicorn and a standout symbol of regional innovation. Getting an inside look at how this homegrown startup scaled across LatAm was eye-opening and energizing for our founders. We also shared a powerful networking lunch with the founder of Foodology Inc, a true Colombian success story in the foodtech industry. 🧑🤝🧑 Throughout the week, we connected with experienced mentors and key public and private actors from the innovation ecosystem, such as iNNpulsa Colombia, Impacta, Invest in Bogotá, PROCOLOMBIA and Cámara Colombo-Alemana | AHK Colombia. We visited key institutions like Universidad EAN and discussed the latest VC and investment trends in Colombia at Ongoing Entrepreneurship Center at Universidad EAFIT — an institution that continuously drives innovation. We also learnt about legal aspects with Phylo Legal and visited ALSEC SAS BIC — one of the most innovative food companies in the country. 🌄 We wrapped up the week in Medellín, experiencing the city’s vital role in the regional ecosystem and meeting with ACI Medellín, Ruta N Medellin, Impact Hub Medellín, and engaging in an inspiring Open Innovation Lunch with Colombian corporates. 🌮 And of course — we immersed ourselves in Colombia’s culture and gastronomy, because understanding a market means living it fully. Thank you, Colombia, for your energy and vision, And a very special shoutout to Max Turner Turner, our incredible partner on the ground, who made everything run smoothly and added a touch of magic to every moment! 📍 Today, our startups are already exploring the region from Mexico — stay tuned for the updates! 🇲🇽 #GermanStartups #Innovation #LatAm #GermanAccelerator Matias Laks, Daniela Izquierdo, Sebastian Saavedra Martinez, German Andres Villegas Gomez, Sergio Cadavid Ramos, Paola Andrea Franco Franco, Juan Pablo Romero Gaitán, Carolina Santana, Angela Jiménez, Camilo Gómez, Angie Rodríguez, Catalina Tabares, Federico Restrepo Sierra, FAIRPLAID, TSF - Temu Smart Farming, orto, PBSGEO GmbH, platform3l GmbH, VanOnGo
