Here, gas is heated to over 150 million degrees, ten times hotter than the Sun’s core. At this temperature, atomic nuclei fuse, releasing vast amounts of energy. This process, known as fusion, has the potential to provide humanity with a clean, abundant, and safe energy source. 🖥️ This unique experience is the result of a groundbreaking collaboration between the Laboratory for Experimental Museology (eM+) and the Advanced Computing Hub, led by the the Swiss Plasma Center, turning terabytes of complex data into an accessible, interactive experience for both the public and the scientific community. Each 30-minute tour includes: ✅ Immersion in the world of fusion through data visualization inside a digital twin of the TCV tokamak (with 3D glasses) ✅ A live visit to the tokamak ✅ A relaxed Q&A session with our fusion researchers 👉 Limited spots available | register here: https://lnkd.in/eDrZkuyX #fusionenergyweek #swissplasmacenter #epfl #tokamak #fusionenergy EUROfusion EPFL College of Humanities
