We are delighted to take another major step in the long-standing partnership between ENERCON and WestfalenWIND. 🤝 Our customer has placed an order for 20 turbines of our top model E-175 EP5. The wind farm projects being built in Bad Berleburg and Erndtebrück in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district will have a total output of 120 MW and supply 90,000 households with electricity from the immediate region. E-175 EP5 E2 prototype successfully installed We are proud to announce the successful installation of our first E-175 EP5 E2 wind turbine! The prototype of our new flagship with a rated output of 7.0 MW was erected in Wachendorf, Germany. Thanks to the entire team which did a great job to make this happen! 👏💚 With the completion of turbine assembly we are opening a new chapter in the history of high-performance and high-yield wind turbines. An extraordinary wind farm project is nearing its end! Yesterday marked the official inauguration of the Horizonte Wind Farm in Chile! This was a special moment for our ENERCON team, which has demonstrated over the past months that great teamwork and persistent effort can move mountains... or rather, build a wind farm in the middle of the desert!  💬 ‘We are pleased to contribute to a sustainable and fossil-free energy supply in Chile and Latin America with our products’, says Uli Schulze Südhoff, ENERCON CCO. ‘Installing wind turbines in the middle of the Atacama Desert not only requires advanced and solid technology, but also a highly dedicated team that makes the project a success. We are thrilled to announce that ENERCON has signed a major purchase agreement with BürgerEnergiepark Druiberg GmbH & Co KG for the delivery and installation of 13 x E-160 EP5 wind turbines, totaling around 72 MW, for the first community wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany! 🎉 This project, located in Dardesheim, exemplifies the power of community-driven renewable energy and the strength of our long-term partnerships. With high regional approval and strong local participation, this wind farm is set to benefit the citizens and businesses in three communities. ENERCON expands EP5 tower portfolio with new HST towers ENERCON is developing additional and taller Hybrid Steel Towers (HST) for the current EP5 wind turbines. These new steel tower variants expand the portfolio to meet increasing customer demand and offer high hub heights worldwide. Available from 2026, the HST towers also provide benefits such as easy transportation and installation as well as the option for local production. Maria-Josefa Brand, Tower Product Manager at ENERCON, says, ‘This step broadens our tower production base and reliably secures our volume for the coming years.’ Timo Müller, EP5 Platform Manager at ENERCON, adds, ‘With the new HST towers, we can offer EP5 customers worldwide tower variants with high hub heights.’ The practice proven HST technology combines segments of the Modular Steel Tower (MST), which consist of folded steel plates bolted together, with segments of a Turbular Steel Tower (ST). 🌟 Strengthening Collaboration and Innovation within the Supply Chain 🌟 On 5 March 2025, we hosted our annual Supplier Day at the EEZ in Aurich. With around 120 guests from 75 suppliers and 70 of our team members, the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect and innovate together under the theme "Partnering for Next Level Value Chain." Our COO Heiko Juritz and CTO Jörg Scholle, along with other executives, delivered inspiring keynote speeches that underscored the vital role our suppliers play in our value chain. The day was packed with engaging breakout sessions, informative sustainability and supply chain info-points, and a lively podium discussion featuring COO Heiko Juritz, CCO Uli Schulze Südhoff, and CTO Jörg Scholle. Attendees also enjoyed an insightful tour of our production facilities, getting a firsthand look at our manufacturing processes. Igniting Innovation: ENERCON's first steps into AI We are excited to share the highlights from our AI-campaign week, which marked the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and served as a kick-off to the usage of generative AI within the company. At ENERCON, we care for our employees and are committed to supporting them through one of the biggest transformations to date: the integration of generative AI. By helping our team find their footing with this groundbreaking technology, we aim to empower them to harness its full potential. The participants showed great interest in the various aspects of AI during the sessions. A wide variety of ideas on how AI can be used at ENERCON often emerged during the sessions. We at ENERCON are just at the beginning of our AI journey, and we can't wait to see where it takes us!  As a funny part of our AI.WEEK, we held an AI Art Contest that showcased the incredible creativity and innovation of our participants! 🎨✨ We asked our colleagues to use Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat to craft an imaginative piece that captures their own vision of wind energy's future.
