Neuer Prototyp aus dem #Faserguss unlocked! 🍍🧪 Gestern war ich in Hannover – und habe ein echtes Highlight mitgenommen: Dieser wunderschöne Cup zeiget ganz praktisch, was mit unserem Zellstoff möglich ist. 🌱 50 % Ananaspflanze 🌲 50 % NBSK (Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft) Das Ergebnis? Ein stabiler, formschöner Cup – und ein echter Hingucker. Für mich sind genau solche #Prototypen ein Meilenstein, denn sie zeigen: Unser Material funktioniert. Und zwar nicht nur in der Theorie, sondern ganz konkret. Was meint ihr – wie findet ihr sie? Mit eco:fibr haben wir die Mission „Turning waste into purpose“ und fördern aktiv die Kreislaufwirtschaft. Wir stellen Zellstoff aus Agrarreststoffen (Ananaspflanzen) als Alternative zu Frischfasern aus Holz her und stehen kurz vor dem PoC im industriellen Maßstab sowie einer MVP-Produktion in Costa Rica. This shift is no longer a short-term trend, but an economically relevant process with a lasting impact on supply chains, market strategies and consumer behavior. 🔄 However, the main raw material, wood, is expensive, scarce and volatile, which means that paperisation quickly reaches its limits without innovation. 🌲⚠️ This makes scalable alternatives and new technological approaches essential. 💡What does an internship at eco:fibr look like in practice?   Hi, I'm Michelle, 23, and currently interning in Business Development at eco:fibr. But what does that mean for my day-to-day activities? 📊 Every day at work is different, which I find very appealing. Rather than monotonous routine work, I have an exciting combination of long-term projects and spontaneous challenges every day. ⚡The current seed financing round is particularly interesting from my perspective as I am able to play an active role in a crucial growth phase for the team by supporting them with intensive market research and investor searches to identify the best strategic partners. In this context, working on the business plan has been highly valuable as it has allowed me to see how business strategies learnt during my studies are applied in practice. 🚀 Although my time at eco:fibr is not yet over, I have already learned a significant amount. Above all, I really appreciate the fact that I am not just viewed as a temporary intern, but rather as a valuable team member. I am entrusted with responsibilities and have the opportunity to immerse myself in the many facets of business development.
