Over 12 km of walking through the world of industrial innovation - HANNOVER MESSE was quite a workout 🏃♂️💡 I spent most of my time exploring the latest in #Bioprocessing and pharmaceutical R&D automation. From intelligent experimental design and simulation to #Bioreactors with real-time condition monitoring, I got a much better sense of where the industry is headed. One of the most interesting conversations I had was with the Siemens Digital Industries Software and #Biopharma team. Their #RiffynX platform helps scientists design experiments, capture the right data, and scale up bioprocesses. They are also experimenting with #AI assistants that can answer user questions. Right now, they are just using simple #LLM integrations. We think we can do better! That's why we explored how Biocompile's AI agent could complement the ecosystem by helping researchers interact with complex #Data in a more intuitive way, using the Siemens platform as its backbone. Siemens has the customers and the data, we have the agent that can not only answer questions, but also autonomously use #Bioinformatics tools to reduce AI hallucinations and get more out of experimental data. Sounds like a match to me! I'm really looking forward to the follow-up meeting with Jared H. and his colleagues. This could be the start of something very exciting! Partnering with industry giants like Siemens could accelerate our startup journey and be Biocompile's first step into the pharmaceutical space. Recently had the opportunity to share the vision of Yugen Space, and discuss the transition from academia to entrepreneurship at Cyber Valley meet-up in Tübingen. 🚀 I had the chance to share the panel with and learn many great insights from fellow founders too! Maximilian Bode - building a cool AI-driven strain engineering startup Biocompile Tessa Talsma - empowering businesses with a unified knowledge base with KIWI Knowhow Lucas Weyrich - transforming conventional trade systems with Circulonix Sharing about Yugen Space is always exciting and I hope to do it more often. Have you ever considered that your product could be of interest to public institutions? 🇩🇪 But how do you approach such institutions? Unfortunately, #Germany is known for its overly complicated processes and a lot of bureaucracy. Who is the best person to contact? Do you approach the institution directly or are there procurement processes to consider? Are innovative business models accepted by public institutions or must it always be the tried and tested license agreement? 🤔 During my visit to the Staatsministerium Baden-Württemberg (Baden-Württemberg State Ministry) in the beautiful Villa Reitzenstein - the #WhiteHouse of BW, I was able to gain a good insight into the opportunities that exist in the field of #B2G for #Startups like us. Biocompile is particularly interesting for universities and research institutes, because not only companies need efficient #StrainEngineering. We are already working together with a lab at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (University of Tübingen). Did you know that you can make platypus milk with genetically modified yeast? 🦫🍼 💡 I didn't until I met some very interesting people at #SynBioReactor in Berlin. What a great event! The perfect place to dive deep into #SyntheticBiology and #Biomanufacturing. 🦠 Thanks to all the people I was able to talk to about the problems and challenges of #StrainEngineering. It was also very nice to finally meet our partners from COLIPI in person! 🤝🏻 This could be the start of many promissing national and international collaborations for Biocompile. #EnablingTechnologies like ours are essential to building the #Bioeconomy!
