The Middle East, and particularly the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been making significant strides in the deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to support renewable energy integration and enhance grid stability. There have been industrial landmark projects resulting in the deployment of a 108 MW/ 648 MWh BESS across 10 locations in Abu Dhabi. The Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) issued a Request for Proposal (RfP) last year for a 400 MW/ 400 MWh standalone BESS project, indicating the UAE's ongoing commitment to expanding its energy storage capacity. The residential energy storage market in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is experiencing rapid growth too. In 2023, the market generated approximately USD 118.8 million in revenue and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26.8 % from 2024 to 2030. Within this market, the 3 kW to 5 kW power rating segment was the largest revenue generator in 2023, while systems less than 3 kW are expected to witness the fastest growth during the forecast period. We offer solutions for both areas and more: Industrial, residential and power solutions for outdoor activities.
