🧠 Scouting early-stage innovation in the Czech deep tech scene! Last week, Ondrej Lipold had the pleasure of joining the jury panel at the Lipo.ink accelerator in Liberec, where we evaluated a fresh batch of early-stage projects ready to take the next step in their journey. Alongside Jaroslav Trojan (N1) and Vanda Seidelova (Twigsee), we explored pitches ranging from AI-powered stock analysis platforms to flapper drone tech and sensorics engineered for extreme environments. 🚀 We’re always excited to support ecosystems that nurture ambitious founders and bold technologies - thanks to Lipo.ink for having us! Looking forward to seeing how these projects evolve through the program.

Když musíte odmítat nápady ne proto, že by nebyly skvělé, ale protože na ně nemáte místo. 📦 💭 Touhle větou bychom shrnuli výběr týmů do inkubačního programu #Výkop. Přihlásilo se nám do něj 11 týmů, postoupit mohlo jen 8. Týmy měly poprvé příležitost ukázat své #projekty před investorským panelem, který v tomto běhu tvoří sympatická trojka: Vanda Seidelova, Ondrej Lipold a Jaroslav Trojan. 💸 Co nám dělá radost: výběr je pěkně pestrý. Ať už na obory, tak na účastníky – ve Výkopu máme třeba i středoškoláka. Přišel k nám s průmkou (Průmyslovka Liberec) na exkurzi a rovnou se vrhl do Výkopu. Držíme všem palce! 📸 Veronika Bečková

Last week, we hosted our first ever Health & BioTech meet up in San Francisco! 🧬✨ Together with LUMUS Investment Collective  and Eldison, we brought founders, investors, and ecosystem builders together for an intimate afternoon of honest conversations - from fundraising struggles to building at the edge of science. We jumped into a panel with inspiring founders: 🎙️ A highlight: our founder panel with - Armand Cognetta (General Proximity) - Daniel Georgiev (Sampling Human) - Yashar Seyed Vahedein, Ph.D. (Coredio) moderated by the brilliant Lucia Cerchlan. Propojení špičkového výzkumu Univerzita Pardubice a firem v Parádní kraj! 🔬🤝🏭 Už od dob svých studií na #UPCE 🎓 jsem si říkal, že je škoda, když skvělý výzkum končí pouze jako článek v odborném časopise. Celý profesní život si říkám, že bych chtěl žít v regionu, kde výsledky vědecké práce nekončí v šuplíku 🗃️, ale dostávají šanci měnit svět 🌍. Ono se tak děje, ale řekl bych, že spíše v tichosti a málo 🤫. Právě proto jsem rád, že nás čeká akce, která tohle všechno může podpořit a posunout dál 🚀. Akce, která už se loni konala v pilotní verzi a díky pozitivním ohlasům má pokračování 🙌. Tou akcí jsou Technology Day UPCE.
