Optimized for high-power applications, our new 100 V and 150 V e-mode GaN FETs (RDS(on) <7 mΩ) deliver low switching losses and high efficiency. They are ideal for 48 V to POL power conversion, fast-charging power supplies, and high-performance audio amplifiers.   By reducing conduction and switching losses, these FETs improve energy efficiency in datacenter LLC converters, USB-C power delivery, and LiDAR systems. What makes innovation sustainable? Talent, collaboration, and long-term commitment. Today at Technische Universität Hamburg, we welcomed a new endowed professor in microelectronics. This initiative is the result of a strong collaboration between Nexperia and one of Germany’s leading technical universities. This partnership is part of our broader effort to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem in Northern Germany. It ensures that students, researchers, and engineers have the tools they need to drive real-world impact, from AI to the energy transition. Semiconductors are the silent heroes of climate innovation. They power electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and smarter, more efficient technologies. As President Prof. Dr. Andreas Timm-Giel rightly pointed out today, meeting global challenges like climate change will only be possible if we have enough skilled engineers to design and implement these solutions. I couldn’t agree more. That’s why this new professorship matters. It represents an investment in the people who will help shape a more sustainable future. Perhaps some of them will even become part of #TeamNexperia 😉 My sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Timm-Giel, Prof. Holger Kapels, and everyone who helped bring this to life. Through guided tours, hands-on activities, a few breaks to play some games, and a glimpse into the world of semiconductors, the kids got to discover how technology touches everyday life, and how people like their parents are making it happen. 👏 After an intense 2.5-day audition program, 11 talented candidates completed the Nexperia Graduate Employee Management selection process. These young engineers, chosen for their exceptional skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities, are now embarking on an exciting journey with #TeamNexperia Malaysia. Their onboarding began with enthusiasm and a strong eagerness to learn. Each of them has been assigned to their respective departments for an intensive learning journey, closely guided and mentored by their assigned buddies, supervisors, and subject matter experts. During this period, they will immerse themselves in the core functions of the manufacturing process, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing flow. Additionally, they will engage in real project management, contributing to ongoing company initiatives. With an enhanced curriculum, hands-on experiences, and personalized mentorship, this program is designed to set them up for long-term success. We look forward to witnessing their growth and success as they shape a brighter future for TeamNexperia!

Introducing the NEX13120FPC-Q100, an AEC-Q100 qualified and ASIL-B compliant 12-channel, 40 V high-side LED driver for designing functionally safe automotive lighting.   Tech specs:   • Low dropout voltage of 600 mV at 100mA current, which translates into power saving of 15 mW per channel and 5 °C reduction in operating temperature   • Independent channels on the NEX13120FPC-Q100 can deliver up to 100 mA of 8-bit programmable output current and can be connected in parallel for applications with higher current requirements   • Supports phase-shift pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming to deliver better load-transient and reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI)   • Can operate at a junction temperature range from -40 °C to +150 °C and is housed in a thermally enhanced 24-pin HTSSOP24 package   Learn more about enhancing your automotive lighting designs: https://lnkd.in/ey4J9DXe
