On March 15, International Schools Services (ISS) successfully hosted the ISS EDU EXPO at Chengdu Luxelakes Cloudland International Kindergarten. As ISS's long-term integrated facility services partner in China, ISS China participated in this industry event and demonstrated the value of the integration of facility management and teaching scenarios through the demonstration of innovative services and the sharing of professional insights.   The expo gathered more than 300 educators from the international education sector, covering international and bilingual schools in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing and other major cities, to share market trends, teaching innovations, learning experiences and other topics in the field of international education.   At the invitation of our partner ISS, ISS China deployed an experiential booth at the expo. Take A bite of Autumn! 😋 Recently, 14 chefs from the ISS campuses took part in the cookery competition, which aims to deliver more experience activities and boost creativity in menu design among schools. Our campus chefs used chicken and season-featured ingredients at their choice to create tasty and nurturing dishes with creativity and craftsmanship. Based on the on-site judge scores made by students/teachers/parents, as well as the ingredients choice, cooking process and nutrition scores made by our Food Service SME, the winner goes to Chef Gu at an international school in Hangzhou, Zhejiang with his Chicken Pumpkin Curry! 👏👏👏 金秋十月，14名驻校的ISS大厨展开了一场以“秋日美食探索季”为主题的厨艺大比拼，为校园带来更多季节性活动，互相交流、分享菜单设计灵感。大厨们使用鸡肉和自选的时令食材，精心制作出一道道荤素搭配、色香味全的创意菜品。综合考虑学生/老师/家长的现场打分以及餐饮服务负责人对烹饪过程和营养搭配的打分，最终，驻杭州某国际学校的顾大厨凭借他风味十足的南瓜咖喱鸡摘得冠军！ #ISS #ISSChina #FoodServices

In the spirit of 20 October - World Chefs Day - the ISS chefs of the campus put their skills to the test and created a unique Korean food festival last Friday. Our on-site team decorated the campus canteen in Korean style, played Korean pop music and dressed in Korean style clothes to create a strong atmosphere for the food festival; our chef prepared authentic Korean dishes such as fried chicken, bibimbap and fried rice cake, and cooked seafood kimchi cakes on site, attracting many teachers and students to queue up and bringing the atmosphere to a climax. After enjoying the delicious food, the teachers and students voted on the next theme - Japan Food Festival! Today is a special day for all Placemakers at ISS, as we are launching MyVoice Global Survey. This survey will cover all topics of interest to employees, including leadership and team, pay, health and safety, D&I, growth, training, values and ethics. We work with third parties to ensure the confidentiality of individual responses. Through this survey, we hope to hear the voices of each Placemaker and how they feel at ISS. Campus safety is a priority for us. With the new school season underway, we are collaborating with local police stations to provide our on-site security teams at international schools with the training and exercises they require to ensure the safety of all personnel.
