At this year’s Alpine Tech Forum, we explored the rapid advancements in AI and robotics, highlighting both opportunities and risks. While AI agents and chatbots drive efficiency, they also introduce privacy, accountability, and regulatory challenges. The fragmented international regulatory landscape only adds to these complexities, raising concerns about liability and data governance. 🔹 Michal Rachtan (CTO, Unit8) emphasized that the true goldmine in AI lies in unstructured data, a long-overlooked resource now driving breakthroughs in Generative AI. 🔹 Kevin Schawinski (CEO, Modulos AG) suggested that AI may soon be capable of learning advanced mathematics at a PhD level—by simply conversing with itself. 🔹 Courtney Bowman(Palantir Technologies) highlighted that the biggest hurdle to AI adoption remains trust, stressing the need to demonstrate the safety and reliability of these systems. Retrospective: Ensuring Digital Trust through Web3 During the Alpine Tech Forum 2025 - Davos, industry leaders explored how Web3 and digital assets are evolving toward an institutional framework, balancing efficiency, privacy, and regulation. While stablecoins, Bitcoin ETFs, and money market funds have gained mainstream traction, the road to a new global financial infrastructure will take decades. The panel was opened by Corinne Riguzzi, a seasoned executive in the financial sector, and CEO of Six Exchange Regulation AG, she has been instrumental in overseeing trading activities and ensuring compliance with exchange rules. David Newns (SIX Digital Exchange) highlighted the rapid adoption of new digital asset classes, while Yuval Rooz (Digital Asset) emphasized that on-chain privacy will be key for institutional payments and collateral movement. At the same time, Guido Buehler Bühler (zondacrypto) pointed out the ongoing challenge—finding the right trade-off between stability and agility in regulation. 🚀 As traditional and digital financial infrastructures continue to merge, 2025 will be a defining year for digital assets worldwide.
