Green Solutions Awards – Valorisation des urines en bâtiment 💧🌱 Votez pour le siège de l’Agence Spatiale Européenne ! European Space Agency - ESA a fait appel à Ingérop et VunaNexus AG pour mettre en place un système de valorisation des urines au sein de son siège, dans le cadre d’une réhabilitation menée par Sogelym Dixence. 👉 Le dispositif permet de récupérer les urines des sanitaires et de les acheminer vers des espaces de stockage et de traitement pour les valoriser en engrais naturels. Les avantages : - diminution des polluants dans les eaux usées et donc du coût financier et énergétique du traitement ; - limitation des résidus médicamenteux dans l’eau potable ; - économies d’eau grâce à la récupération d’eau distillée à l’issus du process ; - production d’engrais naturels plus respectueux des sols et de la biodiversité ; - diminution des émissions de CO2 liées à la production d’engrais (-56%). 📝Ingérop a conçu les réseaux séparatifs et les espaces de stockage, VunaNexus AG a conçu les appareils de traitement et valorisation. 🚀 Exciting Milestone Achieved in the German Pilot Region! 🌱 Yesterday marked a significant day for our project as we held our first on-site meeting with our new partner, KWB, in Eberswalde. A key highlight of the agenda was the tour of the VN treatment plant installed at KWB. 🔍 During the tour, KWB provided an insightful introduction to the VN treatment plant's current status, showcasing the newly installed and much-anticipated distiller that produces Aurin fertiliser. We are thrilled to announce that the plant will soon commence operations with the distiller. This development represents a huge milestone for the German Pilot Region, and we are proud of the progress made. A big thank you to the team and partners for their dedication and hard work. La semaine dernière nous avons reçu l'autorisation de l’ANSES pour Aurin en France 🇫🇷.  Premier engrais minéral à base d’urine, certifié par les autorités Françaises, sans restriction d’utilisation.  Grâce au soutien de l’European Space Agency - ESA , des agences de l’eau et des autorités sanitaires, nous prouvons que le recyclage de nos minéraux à la source peut produire des engrais de qualité, sûrs, locaux et durables. Pour plus d’économie circulaire!♻️ ## Last week Aurin received its market authorization from ANSES, the Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety in France 🇫🇷. Aurin is the first mineral fertiliser made from urine, certified by French authorities, without any usage restrictions. Thanks to the support of the European Space Agency - ESA, water agencies, and health authorities, we are proving that recycling our minerals at the source can produce high-quality, safe, local, and sustainable fertilisers. What’s Swiss Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin smelling in the photo below? 🤔 Valley partner VunaNexus AG recently opened their second manure reactor on a pig farm 🐷👏👏 But this wasn't any pig farm. It was the Bigler family's farm - farmers known to be at the cutting edge of Swiss farming innovation. So what was the project aiming to achieve? The manure reactor separates and nitrifies swine urine - reducing ammonia emissions by up to 60% and improving animal welfare to boot. The stabilised urine also becomes odourless, easier to spread AND the process makes it easier to predict the amount of nutrients added to the soil. VunaNexus is now busy working on developing more ways to recycle nitrogen from our waste water and more treatment plants are under construction. Watch this space!
