We’re delighted to share that firmware updates to the Anubis, Hapi, Hapi (Mk II and III), Horus, as well as Audio over IP drivers (VAD and MAD), are available now! Anubis fans, get ready for improvements to each mission. Headline improvements include:  •Music Mission: Support of OSC controllers, more EQ bands on busses, talkback enhancements and more •Monitor Mission: EQ and Dyn on sources, solo channels within a source, auto discovery •Commentary Mission: Auto-Dim •Venue Mission: 4 talk directions with automatic setup and auto-mixer Additionally, there are various improvements for VAD and MAD, as well as new versions of MTDiscovery and MTPortal 🙌 Plus, get ready for ANEMAN 2.0. Pop icons need iconic sound equipment✨ Music Producer and Engineer, Michel Gallone spoke to Headliner Magazine about his journey within the industry and why he still opts for Merging Technologies 😎 After graduating from Full Sail University in Florida, Michel worked in France and the UK as a recording and mixing engineer in recording studios and post-production facilities, including Nomis Studios in London and Teletota in Paris. He then moved back to Switzerland (Montreux) and started working for multi-platinum music producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange on projects with international artists like Shania Twain, Céline Dion, Bryan Adams and Britney Spears. When working with Mutt Lange around 2001, they tested Merging Pyramix with colleagues Kevin Churko and Richard Meyer. They were extremely impressed by the audio quality of the converters, which were surpassing all other equipment. Speaking of his fondness for Merging converters, Michel Gallone says “I’m consistently impressed by the audio transparency. I’ve also worked as a producer and coordinator on many recordings at Abbey Road Studios and other venues with Elizabeth Sombart and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with recordings captured by Arne Aksleberg using Merging converters and software exclusively.
