Exciting innovation in sustainable aviation! The CELLSIUS team is developing a hydrogen fuel cell-based electric airplane near Zurich, Switzerland. We are thrilled that our pressure transducers are playing a role in their ambitious Project H2. 💧⚡✈ We are proud to support CELLSIUS as they push the boundaries of aviation technology. Their passion and dedication are truly inspiring. It will be exciting to see their hydrogen-powered aircraft take its maiden flight, and look forward to tackling future measurement challenges together.
One of our most passionate and supportive sponsors is the Kistler Group. We use their sensors to measure temperature and pressure on the air side of our fuel cell system. Exceptionally lightweight and compact, they fit seamlessly into the tight spaces between the many pipes and cables. For long-lasting and efficient operation, the fuel cell requires specific temperature and pressure conditions at the inlet. Ensuring compliance with these specifications demands precise and reliable measurements—and with Kistler sensors, we can confidently rely on both. We sincerely thank Kistler for their invaluable support and look forward to continuing our collaboration in the future. We especially want to thank Martin Stierli for his continued interest in and support of our project.

We stand by our sustainability targets: the entire Kistler Group should be CO2-neutral by 2030 – and by 2025, we already intend to achieve this goal for our six largest production sites in Germany. We are on the right track: in 2023, we already reduced our total emissions by around 1,135 metric tons of CO2. We are also making good progress as regards e-mobility: we have set up 28 active charging points, and aligned our procurement and use of company vehicles in Germany towards e-mobility and minimal CO2 emissions. You can read about these achievements and much more in our Sustainability report, which has just been published 👉 https://bit.ly/3ZZMPmA
