A month ago, we had the honor of hosting the amazing Kimberlé Crenshaw as our keynote speaker at this year’s YWHISPER Gala. Her words were powerful, urgent, and a call to action. Here are some thought-provoking takeaways from her incredible speech: Intersectionality: A framework to uncover and challenge systemic disempowerment. On Democracy: We are shaped by the past—what legacy will we leave for future generations? On Erasing Critical Language: When we lose the words to name injustice, we lose the ability to fight it. On Action: The only certainty? If we do not fight, we cannot win. Her message continues to resonate. #YWHISPER25
