Today, François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance, announced new support for Canadian businesses affected by U.S. tariffs. These measures include: - a performance-based remission framework for automakers, designed to incentivize continued production and investment in Canada. - relief for a broad cross-section of Canadian businesses that rely on U.S. inputs, to support their competitiveness. - a new financing facility for viable large businesses facing difficulties in accessing traditional sources of market financing. This past Saturday, 25 black-owned small businesses showcased their services and products at Innovate. Network. Thrive: Celebrating Black Entrepreneurs in York Region event hosted by the York Small Business Enterprise Centre and FACE Coalition, at Upper Canada Mall.   The expo and marketplace featured a diverse range of products and services, from physiotherapy and dance to delicious food, beauty products and more.   York Region (The Regional Municipality of York) is committed to fostering an inclusive community.
