🚨 DTTP Hackathon – What an Incredible Weekend! 🚨 Wow! What a ride! The World Innovation League Diverse Tech Talent Program (DTTP) Hackathon was nothing short of amazing! Over three action-packed days, our participants went from ideas to working prototypes building AI solutions that tackle some of the biggest challenges faced by immigrants and underrepresented communities. We saw incredible creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving as participants: 🌍 Designed environmental sustainability projects tackling climate challenges. 🔥 Built innovative solutions from healthcare access for rural communities to financial tools helping immigrants manage debt, build savings portfolios, and transfer credit from home countries. 🎧 Developed a music app feature for sound-impaired users to enhance the Spotify experience. 🛍️ Created fashion shopping assistants that simplify personal styling. 🏠 Crafted housing gap solutions to help immigrants find affordable accommodation faster. It wasn’t all work; daily Trivia Games (with cash prizes 🤑💪🏽) brought the competitive spirit alive, with questions ranging from music to tech to travel! How We Judged - Projects were evaluated based on: Originality Practicality Technical Implementation Aesthetics Completion WOW Factor Sustainability & Long-Term Impact Our Top 3 Winners took home: 🥇 $1,500 🥈 $1,000 🥉 $500 But in our eyes, every single participant is a winner for showing up, pushing boundaries, and bringing bold ideas to life! 💪🏽🔥 A massive THANK YOU to our partners Co.Lab 🚀 joincolab.io, AtilaTech, and Riipen, our incredible mentors, judges, and every participant who made this hackathon truly impactful.
