The Grand Theatre is a cultural icon in London, Ontario and is recognized nationally as a cultural leader. The Grand is committed to producing some of the best professional live theatre in Canada and to enriching, engaging, entertaining, and transforming the lives of members of its community. With its Spriet Stage, Auburn Developments Stage, and Theatre for Young Audiences performances, the theatre takes great pride in providing world-class entertainment to London and Southwestern Ontario residents each season from September to May.

The Grand Theatre’s 2025–2029 Strategic Plan sets forth an ambitious and inspired path for the next five years, rooted in our core values of PASSION, RIGOUR, INNOVATION, INCLUSIVITY, RESPECT, and CARE. As one of Canada’s premier producing theatres and a vibrant cultural hub, the Grand Theatre remains committed to delivering world-class productions that both engage and inspire our diverse audiences, while fostering deep connections within our community.
In coordination with this 5-year plan, the Grand Theatre is also pleased to announce its 2025 EDI-R Action Plan: an outline of the goals and strategies to engage our Theatre in the proactive work of building spaces, practices, and an organization with the priorities of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Reconciliation at the forefront.

The Grand is seeking a hands-on, deadline-driven Finance Assistant. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, the Finance Assistant is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and some payroll assistance. The Finance Assistant plays an integral part in the input, processing, and maintenance of the theatre’s accounting records.

The very first Critics Lab session kicked off yesterday, bringing together four gifted writers on a journey to develop their skills in musical theatre criticism. Timed alongside the Grand Theatre and Theatre Aquarius' co-production of WAITRESS, the Lab will use the beloved musical as a launchpad for discussions and master classes.✍🏼🥧
