Journée Mondiale de l’Eau / World Water Day (English version below) Samedi dernier soulignait la Journée mondiale de l’Eau. Une journée c’est peu pour se rappeler que chaque jour nous avons tous besoin de cette ressource si précieuse. Chez Ecofixe, protéger l’eau c’est au cœur de notre motivation et pour cause, chaque membre de l’équipe à une relation particulière avec l’eau. Cette année on profite de l’occasion pour souligner l’engagement de notre collègue Benjamin Racine, CPI Racine et de ses coéquipiers du projet Sur la ligne (sur Instagram: sur.la.ligne.2025). En août prochain, ces trois athlètes passionnés relèveront un défi sportif hors du commun, soit de traverser le Québec à relais pour relier Gatineau à la Gaspésie en trois étapes : Natation, vélo et course. Benjamin fera une aventure de 150 km à la nage de Gatineau à Montréal. Un exploit que toute l’équipe ne manquera pas soutenir et encourager. D’autres belles nouvelles à venir en lien avec cet accomplissement et pour la protection de nos cours d’eau pour les générations à venir. Last Saturday was World Water Day. One day is a short time to remember that we all need this precious resource every day. At Ecofixe, protecting water is at the heart of our motivation, and for good reason: every member of the team has a special relationship with water. This year, we'd like to take this opportunity to highlight the commitment of our colleague Benjamin Racine, CPI Racine and his teammates from the Sur la ligne project. This August, these three passionate athletes will take on an extraordinary sporting challenge, crossing Quebec in a relay from Ottawa to the Gaspé Peninsula in three stages: Swimming, cycling and running. Benjamin will swim 150 km from Ottawa to Montreal. A feat the whole team will be cheering on and supporting. Follow the Ecofixe page to learn more about Benjamin and his teammates' journey. More great news to come in connection with this achievement and for the protection of our waterways for generations to come. 

It was a great experience connecting with municipalities and industry experts in the Illinois area during IWPC 2025 last week!
