In a major step forward that embodies our commitment to sustainability, we are proud to unveil Targray’s architecturally-stunning new World Headquarters in Kirkland, Quebec. From concept to completion, this transformative project marks a significant milestone in our company’s history and lays the foundation for the future as we forge ahead with our mission to create sustainable solutions for a world in transition. About the Project: We leveraged our office’s existing footprint to convert 20,000 square feet of warehouse space into a modern and inspiring workplace. Rows of fully ergonomic workstations line the ground floor’s open design concept, with a combination of collaborative and quiet spaces dotted around the perimeter. Encouraging teamwork, productivity, and wellness, the main level also includes a dedicated yoga studio, an employee lounge featuring arcade-style games, a self-serve coffee bar and beer taps, and a vibrant custom mural by Montreal artist Ryan Labrosse. In a demonstration of how sustainable construction and design can improve a building’s efficiency and reduce environmental impact on the community, numerous eco-friendly features were implemented, including a 4,000 square foot outdoor collaboration space, electric vehicle charging stations (free for all employees), and one of the largest solar rooftops in Greater Montreal. Along the length of the main floor, a sprawling raised podium borders a formerly windowless wall where low-emissivity (low-E) glass panels were installed and now make up a full height curtain wall with solar energy blocking properties. In addition to the integration of indoor trees and plants throughout the expansion, Targray intends to plant over 100 new trees on its property over the course of the next two years. Targray is partnering up with the Canadian Biogas Association to drive the adoption of renewable natural gas (RNG) in Canada and support the country's transition toward a low-carbon future. We are excited to announce Gaelle Lynch has been appointed as Head Trader of Targray Biofuels & Feedstock in Europe. Operating out of our European Trading Desk in Geneva, Gaelle will play a key role in advancing the objectives of the Targray’s European renewable fuels business, leading a team of traders focused on helping organizations meet their energy needs and achieve emissions reduction targets through the integration of biodiesel, renewable diesel, marine biofuel, and renewable feedstock solutions. Prior to joining Targray, Gaelle spent 14 years with Finnish oil refining and marketing company Neste, trading middle distillates and light products prior to being named the company’s Head of Middle Distillates trading In 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Geneva, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2010.
