Story of Team Symtech #15 This Women in Construction Week, we celebrate Bailey Hanlon, an Apprentice Electrician at Symtech! Bailey’s journey into the electrical trade began while working her first site job as a restoration mason, where she was fascinated by the work of electricians on-site. That moment sparked her interest, leading her to Humber College’s Electrical Program and the IBEW 353 Pathway Program for Women – ultimately bringing her to #TeamSymtech. She spent her first year with Symtech’s Prefab Team, honing key skills before transitioning to site work. Over the past year, she has gained hands-on experience at Manett Residences and Toronto Eaton Centre, officially advancing from Pre-Apprentice to 1st-Year Apprentice. Now, she’s embracing new challenges at Rogers Centre, continuously learning and growing with every project. At Symtech, we are committed to fostering a workplace built on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). Having Bailey on our team not only strengthens this culture but also serves as an inspiration to others looking to break into the skilled trades. Her hard work, determination, and passion are what make Women in Construction Week so meaningful! #symtech #symtechinnovations #teamsymtech #symtechculture #EDIculture #diversity #equity #inclusion #construction #WICWeek #WICWeek25 #WomenInConstructionWeek2025 #electrician #femaleelectrician #womensempowerment #IBEW353
