OZZ GROUP ANNOUNCES CREATION OF ENLIGHTENED BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES   [CONCORD, ON] June 1, 2023 – The shareholders of North American-based electrical contracting firm OZZ Group Inc., have announced the newly created renewable energy execution arm: “Enlightened Clean Energy” [https://lnkd.in/giugH9Ye]. Enlightened Building Technologies will focus on design-build projects and ownership of renewable energy infrastructure assets in the solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage system (BESS), and electric vehicle charging (EV) space. Enlightened Building Technologies had previously operated under the OZZ Solar Canada & OZZ Solar USA names. The company will be the exclusive renewable energy partner of OZZ Group Inc., who currently operates in the Toronto (ON), Vancouver (BC), and Seattle (WA) markets.  “Energy transition has become one of the world’s greatest collective challenges. As an industry, we must re-think the entire energy ecosystem, in order to promote a positive climate impact. We have launched Enlightened Clean Energy (ECE) for the sole purpose of addressing the opportunities resulting from the energy transition.” Steven Muzzo, Chief Executive Officer of OZZ Group Inc. and Executive Chairman of the Board of Enlightened Building Technologies Inc. Project Update: Kingsway Gladstone This mixed-use wood frame with 92 Units in East Vancouver was originally developed to be a purpose-built rental building by Kerkhoff Construction. Just before completion it was announced that it would be taken over by a master lease and used as off-campus student housing and all units will be fully furnished to feature a total of 284 student beds. #powerfultogether #ozzelectric #ozzelectricbcinc #vancouverconstruction

Project Update: Brentwood Woodlands Phase 1b Concord Pacific’s second phase of their Woodlands project built by Centreville. A high end two-tower project with 900 units over common parkade. With electric patio heaters, dedicated 40A electric vehicle charging receptacles for every residential parking stall, crown lighting around the roof mechanical areas, this was a more challenging project located in the Brentwood neighbourhood close to the Brentwood Skytrain station. #powerfultogether #ozzelectricbcinc #ozzelectric #burnaby
