Our project manager David was busy today. Very happy to have helped Serge DiPenta ‘s team while unloading passenger cars for the Montreal train network. Our teams are already working to clean the cars so that they can be returned to the railway cleaned. Waiting for the next batch.

Yup, this project was pretty cool. Thanks Félix Bélanger for looking after this one. Well done
Mission accomplished, 6x rock trucks for a big total of 39x loads of parts, coming from all accross America. A special thanks to all the drivers involved and for safely delivering these big toys in the Labrador region. They say that you’re not a man until you drove the highway 389, well this job wasn’t for kids. Not, our mechanic friends at SMS can start putting the puzzle together. #leavethiswithus

Proud to share that this was one of many successful shipments we’ve moved from the Western USA to the Maritimes in Canada. A big thank you to our valued customer for trusting us with this critical delivery. It’s partnerships like these that drive us to go the extra mile—literally and figuratively! Here’s to delivering not just goods, but confidence and reliability. Summit Logistics Canada #Heavyhaul #Transportation #Summitlogistics

Because our captain David Blanchette never stays very long without doing anything, here are some impressive images of his latest project and our last of 2024. The loading, securing and transport of this 65ft yacht made many people curious all along the Richelieu River. Our mandate was to bring this impressive 100,000lbs boat in the already icy waters of the river, to the wharf section of our Sorel warehouse in order to load it on a barge. Once loaded and secured, the barge was directed to the port of Montreal, Société Terminaux Montréal Gateway to be loaded onto a CMA CGM ship outbound for Rotterdam, NL.

Months of planning, meetings and preparation, ensured that today we can finally roll the VCR modules that were build in Asia for the Varennes project. These photos does not do justice to the real dimensions of this piperack and cyclone tank which will have required the lifting of a hundred electrical wires and many replacement of poles. These transports would never have been able to begin without the continuous efforts of Cyndi Maltais, Kevin Kwateng and the Transport Watson - Oversized/Hors Normes team. Spécial thanks to Marc Hapanionek, Robert Lugo, Jr. and Erik Hemphill for their trust and support. Patience dear residents, we promise to do this quickly now that we have finally started.

The bird has landed, I repeat the bird has landed. A long planning process which began in Italy in the Legnano region, masterfully coordinated by Erik Hemphill and his team. The torch was passed to us at the port of NY for delivery onto foundation at the MICO substation in Jamesie, 1400km later. Rotation on trailer, followed by smooth sliding to pad. Thanks to the team of Pier-Yves Bastien and Martin Fortin for the support and their patience.

The short way is not always the cheapest. Very happy to have been able to advise our client in maritime strategy by container ship for this shipment measuring more than 6.30m wide having left Europe in the last few days and destined for the Sorel industrial park. A special thank you to Romain Dubrisay for unparalleled coordination and trust, Société Terminaux Montréal Gateway ,Montreal Boatmen ltd. , Mammoet , Christian Langlais who are long-time allies for us, and finally CMA CGM with whom things always go smooth.

First major mandate for our project manager, David Blanchette, coordination of the transport, lifting and securing of this 188,000 lbs shaft heading Washington state. Special thanks to Québec Gatineau Railway Inc. for their continuous support and flexibility. Working on their property, always a charm.
