Today AquaEntrepreneurs joined the AquaAction business delegation in Arizona to showcase cutting-edge water tech solutions. With the state projected to need at least 100 acre-feet of new water supply to meet growing demand, our innovators stepped up to present technologies that can make a real difference.    The first day consisted of insightful panels and discussions about Arizona entities and utilities. Discussions with the Central Arizona Project and the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of AZ emphasized sustainable management strategies, grant funding, and the development of new water supplies to meet growing demands. Meanwhile, experts like Sara Poter from the Kyl Center for Water Policy and Brian Adair from the University of Arizona showcased how research, innovation, and partnerships can address water shortages and drive long-term resilience. 🌊   Did you know? 30% of Arizona’s water comes from the Colorado River, with 70% allocated to agriculture. Nabil Arar, to implement the upgraded version of the "Rootirka" Monitoring System (Root Sense). This project is supported by the Finn Church Aid (FCA Jordan) and in collaboration with the Jordan Exporters and Producers Fruit and Vegetable (JEPA) . 🎉🌴 🔬 What is the "Rootirka" Monitoring System (Root Sense)? It is an advanced system designed to optimize crop irrigation by collecting accurate data from the root zone in real-time and displaying it on the system’s platform. Key features include: 📍 Operates based on precision irrigation principles, equipped with sensors to read the plant's needs in the root zone. 📍 Allows for monitoring anytime and anywhere with data updates and display on a mobile app and the website. 📈 At Smart Green, we continue our efforts to advance agriculture and promote sustainability through the latest technological innovations.
