One of Galore Creek's core values focuses on responsible development, which includes sustainable social, environmental, and economic outcomes. We are committed to conducting our activities with environmental stewardship at the forefront and complete environmental monitoring programs year-round. At the end of 2024 and into 2025 our environmental teams will be focused on collecting data for water and climate, integral to informing our overall understanding of water resources, wildlife, and terrestrial ecosystems around the Galore Creek Project.

Working to close the gap in #FlightSafety - Flight operations experts are discussing challenges and problems of cold weather operations at the Technical Advisory Committee Meeting in #Calgary. Especially in Canada, prevailing weather conditions present enormous challenges to crews and equipment and require special approaches to ensuring sufficient levels of flight safety. A forum like BARS Program’s #TAC is just the right opportunity to exchange best practices and find answers to lots of pressing questions.   A big Thank You to the experts on stage Chris Haslock (Blackcomb Helicopters), Sean Rickards of (Yellowhead Helicopters Ltd.), JJ Gerber (Cougar Helicopters Inc.), Olivier Richer (Nolinor Aviation), Jason Young (North Star Air), Corey Taylor (Mustang Helicopters Inc.) and the moderators Paola Hansson (Teck Resources Limited) and Robert Donnelly (Freeport-McMoRan).
