A passionate group of colleagues recently embarked on an Impact Agenda Adventure in the Philippines, where they took part in a week filled with hands-on volunteering and learning to bring our Impact Agenda to life. One of the activities included a visit to Buting Elementary School in Manila to meet and interact with some of our Peso Smart scholars. Peso Smart is a financial literacy program for children delivered in collaboration with the Corazon Sanchez Atayde Memorial Foundation. Our colleagues spent the morning with a group of students to learn about their career aspirations and discover the types of skills they may need to explore a career in their dream fields. #ManulifeImpact

We are thrilled to launch the Innovating for Asia’s Demographic Future Challenge. This is the second of three innovation challenges we're hosting in collaboration with UpLink - World Economic Forum. This year’s challenge is focused on enhancing multigenerational financial resilience, helping people maintain their physical and mental well-being as they age, and fostering lifelong fulfilment across Asia. We’re inviting innovative start-ups from around the globe to submit solutions that empower individuals of all ages in Asia to achieve financial stability, manage their health proactively, and engage actively in their communities. Later this year, we will reveal 10 winning innovators, who will have access to exclusive networking events and partnerships as well as increased visibility and funding opportunities. From this group, the top three will be awarded a share of CA$200,000 in prize money. For more information and to apply today, please visit: https://ow.ly/GxRe50VoZgv

Several of our colleagues from around the world recently convened in the Philippines to witness firsthand how our Impact Agenda comes to life in one of our markets. Over the course of the weeklong Impact Agenda Adventure, colleagues volunteered with several community partners, including the Haribon Foundation where they prepared seedlings of native tree species. After the seedlings have matured, they will be planted to support forest restoration and flood prevention efforts in the country. #ManulifeImpact
