We have been involved with the Nemaska Lithium project from the very start, beginning with the order of magnitude, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies. Being executed on a vast scale, with an inclusive team approach that, at peak, includes 400 experts from 39 Hatch offices worldwide, we’re using custom system integration, templates, and workflows to maximize productivity and allow people to work in parallel. This collaborative approach allows the Nemaska Lithium team to fully integrate with the Hatch team, enhancing precision and minimizing the need for rework. We had an incredible week at the HANNOVER MESSE! We saw, and shared, groundbreaking innovations, vital collaborations shaping the future of industry, and met some incredible people. Here are some key insights from the week: - EU policies reshaping industry: New EU regulations, such as the Net-Zero Industry Act and the Energy Efficiency Directive, are significantly impacting industrial operations. These policies aim to accelerate clean tech manufacturing and improve building energy efficiency.   - CO₂ reporting requirements: The EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) now mandates comprehensive CO₂ emission tracking and standardized reporting. This is crucial for industrial and energy-heavy operations.    - Hydrogen's growing role: Whilst Germany is making some progress on delivering on the national goals set out in 2023 (10GW by 2030), infrastructure buildout will need to pick up pace in the coming years. We continue to support our German clients in domestic and import (through H2Global) hydrogen projects to secure the future of hydrogen economy in Germany. - Canada-Germany synergy: The strengthened partnership between Canada and Germany is driving significant progress in cross-border energy solutions, with a focus on collaboration.  - AI in industrial operations: AI was a major focus, with advancements in predictive maintenance, generative design, and robotics-enabled manufacturing. AI is becoming essential for machine diagnostics, scheduling, and #energyefficiency Additionally, we made many important connections with the European Commission, Mecklenburg-vorpommern, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Business Council of Canada, Deutsche Messe, and many more. It was an energizing event and we’re optimistic about the future.
