With a mix of sadness and celebration, today, we're announcing the official retirement of Patrick Pitka as Genome Prairie's CFO. Pat joined us in 2006 - his leadership was invaluable in our success. Here's Pat (middle) with Genome Prairie's Chair Dr. Peter Phillips (left) and Mike Cey, Genome Prairie President and CEO, celebrating Pat's long-time tenure as CFO. As a token of our appreciation for his 19 years of service, Pat was presented by Peter and Mike with a signed work by esteemed Saskatchewan artist Glen Scrimshaw (titled "The Prairie Lilly.") Pat, one of the nicest people you'll ever meet or know, we wish you and your wife Karen the most beautiful years together in retirement. Your golden years are well-earned, and your amazing contributions as CFO over the years were greatly appreciated.
