Spring is in the air! But as you know, Manitoba springs are notorious for fluctuating temperatures, which can make managing your energy use tricky. Here are three tips to help you use less energy while increasing your home’s comfort: 💨 Prevent drafts: Keep your home comfortable year-round by sealing gaps around your windows and doors. This will prevent warm air from getting inside your home on warmer days or heat leaving your home on cooler days. ☀️Use the weather to your advantage: Hold off on using your air conditioner until absolutely necessary. You can use outdoor temperature changes to your benefit by opening and closing windows. 🌡️Get a smart thermostat: Smart thermostats have features like scheduling, geofencing, and remote access, making it easier to control your energy use and lower your energy bills.
