At this weekend’s China Development Forum in Beijing, in the presence of Premier Li Qiang and global business leaders, I shared our vision of how to turn the “Healthy China” ambition into reality, in line with our “Innovated in China for China and the rest of the world” strategy. To do so, we are investing in R&I and expanding our Specialized Nutrition production capacity, while working with, academia, researchers, and health institutions at our Open Science Research Center in Shanghai. The Center is leveraging new technologies like AI to transform scientific insights into practical, life-enhancing solutions.     International Women’s Day is about celebrating women, and, this year in particular, highlighting the need to accelerate action for all – including women in leadership positions. That’s something we discussed in-depth last week at the very first TEDxSaclayWomen event, hosted at Danone’s global Research and Innovation Center in Paris-Saclay.   Speakers including Sylvie Retailleau, Benoît Dardenne, Sandrine Gourlet, and more talked about women’s representation in diverse sectors like science, sports, music, and business – shedding light on barriers and unconscious bias. An inspirational moment that provided plenty of food for thought on how to drive real progress.   Because at Danone, where a commitment to ensuring access to equal opportunities for all is embedded in our culture and values, we’re always striving for more. It was great to team up with Youtuber #Inoxtag to answer school children’s questions at the Danone stand. We talked all things dairy, from fermentation, to cows’ milk yields, and farmers’ daily lives – a great opportunity to raise awareness and interest in this essential profession, among younger generations! A huge thank you to the kids and Inoxtag!
