I used to be someone who always reacted skeptically to new ideas or invitations. My first thought was usually, "Hmm, maybe not," "Why should we do that?" or "Wouldn't something else be better?" It took time and some honest self-reflection to understand why I acted this way. I realized my initial doubts often discouraged others...even when deep down, I liked their idea. 🍲 Have you ever said no to trying a new dish because you thought you'd hate it? Maybe even said, "This tastes awful!" after just one bite, even if it wasn't entirely true? I've definitely done that. 🙂↕️ But I've learned there's always more to appreciate: • the effort behind it • the experience you gain • the connections we make Now, I've become someone who seeks challenges and typically accept them as they are. Yesterday, I was invited back to a trail race next year, and without hesitation, I said, "Yes, let's do it!" This openness has helped me grow personally and professionally. It's why I'm training for two marathons this 2025, started guitar classes again after 15 years, and much more. 🎸 I'm grateful to everyone around me who's supported this change, intentionally and not. We need each other’s encouragement, different viewpoints, and sometimes even just someone to listen. 🏔️ Have you experienced a similar change? Yesterday at North Valley's event, Pablo Aristizabal made an interesting question: “What did the brain come for?" It followed straightforward questions like “What did the heart, kidney, or lungs come for?” … organs with clear, defined responsibilities. But when it comes to the brain, there can be as many replies as people you ask. 🙂↕️ This reminded me of something Federico and I constantly emphasize at Streaver: learning. Learning is at the core of who we are. We always say, the day someone feels they've stopped learning, there is a problem… a big one! 🌱 Learning is growth 🌱 Learning is opportunities 🌱 Learning is adaptability 🌱 Learning is resilience 🌱 Learning is progress Never stop learning! 🛑 But there was more…the cherry on top, I had the pleasure of meeting Manuel in person 🤩 a brilliant Argentinian CTO and creator of NV who I've had the privilege of working with remotely almost 4 years ago!
