Research Update from Circulus Agtech! 🚀🌱 Exciting progress from our lab! Patrick, one of our researchers, as been testing digestate from agricultural waste processed by the Circulus System as a substitute for synthetic fertilizers. By refining digestate, we’re unlocking valuable nutrients and promoting more sustainable farming. 🌾🔬 This brings us one step closer to circular, eco-friendly agriculture. Stay tuned! How do you see digestate fitting into future fertilizer strategies? Let’s connect! 💡👇 #Agtech #SustainableAgriculture #CircularEconomy #Biofertilizers #Innovation https://lnkd.in/eFdCzU83
I am currently working as a research intern at Circulus Agtech through the Mitacs Accelerate Research Internship where I am evaluating different liquid digestates, produced from various agricultural wastes, by Circulus Agtech's innovative system on high-value crops. I believe that combining liquid digestates with inorganic fertilizers in an integrated approach will be crucial in shifting from the Green Revolution to a “Fresh" Green Revolution - “Bio-Revolution”. This shift will help address hunger and malnutrition while minimizing economic and environmental impacts. The challenges posed by climate change have forced agriculturalists to increase or at least maintain crop yields under more stressful conditions. I am confident that by utilizing integrated nutrient management and investigating the potential of biostimulants and biofertilizers in crop production, we can achieve our goals. #Agriculture #FoodSecurity #ClimateChange #IntegratedNutrientManagement #OrganicFertilizers #InorganicFertilizers #Biostimulants #Biofertilizers #McGillUniversity
