Career development is essential—and advocacy for it is urgent! Today, at Amplify 2025 conference hosted by First Work, CERIC was proud to stand alongside partners and changemakers advancing the case for employment services as a critical piece of Canada's workforce development ecosystem. The session From Awareness to Action: Advancing Employment Services Advocacy spotlighted the importance of advocating for policies and funding that recognize career development as more than job placement—it’s about lifelong learning, equity and economic mobility. A special thank you to CERIC's Vice-Chair Keka DasGupta for lending her voice on this timely panel, alongside the incredible Sareena Hopkins from the CCDF-FCDC and Surranna Sandy, from Skills for Change. Their insights gave attendees tools to craft compelling messages, engage key stakeholders and push the sector forward. Congratulations to the entire #Amplify25 community for raising the bar on what leadership in disruption looks like! Continue the momentum - share your learnings from the session or access the free #BeyondDecentWork playbook: https://lnkd.in/estQ9sgK #CareerDevelopment #EmploymentServices #Amplify25 #WorkforceDevelopment
